Apparently “Smash Bros. Brawl” wasn’t the first fighter Snake was in…

Solid Snake in "Dream Mix TV: World Fighters"

Did anyone else hear about this game?  Holy crap…a Konami and Hudson collaboration project!  The original website can be found here.

Yup, I remember all about it. It was essentially just a Super Smash Bros. rip-off, and it came out about the same time as Onimusha Blade Warriors which was also a 4 playing fighter similar to Super Smash. It had Bomberman, Optimus Prime, and Simon Belmont along with Snake, but outside of that though the characters weren't too notable. Fun stuff, but heard it wasn't too great.

Lol, cool. This totally went right past me; no idea something like this had even came out.

I remember reading one of the reviews of this game in a gaming magazine I used to collect. It didn't fare too well due to its character line-up (Bomberman would have made it better had his 3D games been better) and the fact that it did indeed smell of a Super Smash Bros. rip.Never got the play the game – I don't think it ended up getting released in the UK. If it did, I didn't see it in any of the local stores.

Dreammix is awesome. If you ever get to play it, do.
